About Us
"Hi, I'm Herman the father of our family. I get to do what I’ve wanted to do for years... Work with my family and raise healthy, happy puppies. I also dream of having more free time to do more of God's work as well."
Herman takes the phone calls, answers emails, and coordinates the puppy video chats. He's the person you’ll meet when you come to pick up your puppy. He also does most of the office work, record keeping, puppy updates for the website, and general management of Michigan Puppy."

"Hi, I’m Dorothy, the Mom of our family. I also get to do what I’ve dreamed of doing… Having a family and taking care of our home. Life is never boring with five children and some day I dream of slowing down and spending more time with my family."
Dorothy's biggest contribution to Michigan Puppy is her encouragement, prayer, cooking, and doing housework for the rest of the crew. She also helps Herman with some office work.

"Hi there! I’m Timothy, the oldest child of the family. I love doing construction projects and dream of building houses someday. I also love taking care of our puppies and making sure they are happy and healthy every day."
Timothy is our all-around right-hand man! 2024 was his first year working full-time here at Michigan Puppy. His daily responsibilities include feeding the adults and puppies, cleaning dog runs, and changing bedding for the puppies. He also gives the puppies their spa times before leaving for their new homes. He also does regular grooming on our adults.

"Hi! I’m Regina I am the 2nd child and oldest daughter in the family. I like photography and plan to take photography classes soon to help Timothy take pictures of our lovely puppies."
Regina’s daily responsibilities include overseeing the ENP (Early Neurological Stimulation) program for all the younger puppies. This helps the puppy’s social health by helping them stay calm and relaxed in new or stressful situations.

"Hi there! I am Marlin and I’m the 3rd child and youngest son. I dream of someday driving big construction equipment like excavators and dozers."
Marlin’s daily responsibilities here at Michigan Puppy include cleaning the dog runs, and feeding the dogs and puppies. His most important job though is playing with the puppies every day in our indoor exercise area so they are socialized and ready to join a new family when they are adopted.

"Hi, I’m Julie the 4th child and middle daughter. I love playing with puppies and my natural nursing skills shine through. I dream of someday having a family of my own."
Julie’s daily chores include helping Regina with the ENS (early neurological stimulation) program on all the younger puppies. This is a huge help with the puppy’s social health and development.

"Hi, I’m Suanna, the "baby" of the family. I love doting on the puppies and pretending they’re my babies. I think going to school is exciting and fun and I like learning new things!"
Suanna’s daily chores include helping Regina with the ENS (early neurological stimulation) program for all the younger puppies. She also helps Marlin with the daily indoor exercise program for the puppies.
