We’re the Yoder family, and we’ve been raising puppies on our farm near Hersey in central Michigan since 2004. Every Maltipoo puppy you see above was born and raised right here by us. We don’t resell puppies from other breeders. Our children help feed, play with and care for the puppies every day, so each Maltipoo is well socialized and used to people long before it goes home with you.
A Maltipoo (also spelled Malti-Poo, Maltepoo or Multipoo) is a cross between a Maltese and a Toy or Miniature Poodle. You get a small, affectionate dog with a soft, low-shedding coat and a playful personality that often stays puppy-like for years.
Maltipoos fit well in apartments, condos and homes with small yards, and they do well with families, couples and retirees. They’re gentle enough for respectful kids and happiest when they’re with their people. They don’t like being left alone for long stretches. Because they shed very little, many families with mild allergies do well with a Maltipoo, though no dog is 100% hypoallergenic.

Very little. Their Poodle-type coat holds loose hair instead of dropping it around the house, which is why they need regular brushing and trims.
Most Maltipoos end up between 5 and 20 lbs. We’re happy to tell you the size of a puppy’s parents so you know what to expect.
