You're probably here because you're looking for Shichon puppies for sale in Detroit. Well, you are in luck! We've been raising Shichon puppies in our own nursery for folks in Detroit for a number of years now. We are Michigan Puppy and we love finding homes in Detroit for the cute, fluffy, non-shedding Shichon puppies we raise! We raise them all at our homestead in central Michigan. We've found homes for a number of our Shichons in Detroit and would love to find homes for more.
We're a family and we've been raising puppies since 2004. We love it! By we, I mean myself, my wife, and our four children and the puppies. My wife and I love it because it's something we can do together. Our kids love it because they get to play with super-cute puppies every single day and the puppies love it because, well, puppies love to be played with.
Maverick is a wonderful 5 month old Morkie puppy! He's full of play and is also very relaxed. We are both learning how to take care of each other. He's looking very sharp after his first grooming!
Peaches is the most loving adorable puppy we could have ever wished for. The staff was amazing and made our experience wonderful. Summer gave us so much information on the entire process including her food. Peaches had her first veterinary appointment the veterinarian was so pleased with her health and her playful personality. We are so in love with our new family member.
Our experience with Michigan Puppy was the best! We are so thrilled with our Maltipoo, Misty! We are one happy family! Misty is beyond sweet and has brought joy to all of us!
It was love at first sight for my granddaughter and Misty, too, when they met! Our Misty (we kept her original name, it was perfect for her!) has been an amazing, sweet, fun addition to our family! Thank you Michigan Puppy and Summer for a wonderful experience! Summer was extremely patient with all of our questions and could not have been kinder! It was so worth the trip to pick up our little girl and surprise my granddaughter!
Shichon puppies are sometimes called “teddy bear dogs” or “Zuchons”. They are a cross between the Shitzu and Bichon Frise breeds. They are small, usually 10-15 lbs, and have super fluffy coats which make them look bigger than they are. They are friendly, happy, and fun to play or snuggle with. They usually like kids and are quite playful which can be harder to find in smaller dog breeds. They do bark occasionally which is pretty common in smaller breeds like this. They need to be groomed regularly to avoid coat matting.
Given their size they are also a perfect fit for living in condos, apartments, or homes with small yards. Malti-Poo's are well suited for life in the city of Detroit.
