Looking for Shichon puppies for sale in Michigan? We are Michigan Puppy and we love finding homes for our Shichon teddy bear puppies! We raise them all right here in pure Michigan and find puppy parents for them all over Michigan. We're a family and we've been raising puppies since 2004 and we love it. By we, I mean myself (Herman), my wife, our four children, and the puppies. My wife and I love it because it's something we can do together. Our kids love it because they get to play with puppies every single day and the puppies love it because, well, puppies love to be played with!
Mr. Oliver, our four month old Maltipoo, is one smart puppy. He quickly adapted to his new routine of a morning walk, play time, a short nap, and an afternoon walk followed by nap #2. My husband and I have found the perfect dog!!
I am so happy with my new addition to my family. Everyone at Michigan puppy was very helpful and answered all of my questions. She is such a smart puppy. She was pretty much potty trained within days and has slept through the night in her little bed next to my bed every night. These puppies definitely are very loving and cuddly.
I am so thankful for Michigan Puppy. They brought me my new companion. And for that, I’m forever grateful. But it was the amount of information and care that really drew me to them! They were overwhelming in the amount of support they wanted to provide and that’s a great thing. And I will forever appreciate them for that.
I live in Bay City and say my sweet baby on the website. I called and spoke with a gentleman who fit me in for an in-person visit.. when I got there I had the best experience!! Full of knowledge and very personable!! Would give these guys a hundred stars!! Highly recommend. Totally in love with my little guy!!
Shichons puppies are sometimes called "teddy bear dogs" or "Zuchons". They are a cross between the Shitzu and Bichon Frise breeds. They are small, usually 10-15 lbs, and have super fluffy coats which make them look bigger than they are. They are friendly, happy, and fun to play or snuggle with. They usually like kids and are quite playful which can be harder to find in smaller dog breeds. They do bark occasionally which is pretty common in smaller breeds like this. They need to be groomed regularly to avoid coat matting. For smaller living spaces like you'll find in some Michigan cities like Detroit, Lansing, Ann Arbor, and Grand Rapids, Shichons are a great option and a wonderful companion!
